Traditions: I get up and watch the Macy's parade by myself sisters sleep in and dad starts the turkey. Then we wait for our family to arrive at about 2 or 3 we sit around and chat or play poker. We eat dinner around one table (no kid table). After diner we watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (movie with Chevy Chase). At the middle of the movie take a break to have pie. We finish the movie and everyone goes home. Then in the morning my sister and I go shopping at 4:30AM. I love it it is such a rush. My favorite dish is classic turkey and gravy. My favorite time of the year is From Thanksgiving to New Years. I love Christmas music and being around my family.

We alternate where we are having Thanksgiving.. One year my sis, the next year me etc... Always watch the Thanksgiving day parade.. or at least have it on! Dinner with the family... Lots of laughs.. We go around in a circle and tell everyone what we are grateful for.. Then we have a Turkey Pinata that all the kids get to hit for candy and small gifts.. Every Year is the same.. Well, I get up and say my prayers and Do some Bible Devotionals with my husband about giving Thanks and thinking of things we are thankful for what we would like to say at the meal time. Then after that we will have breakfast. This year I am making cinnamon rolls and probably scrambled eggs. Then while eating breakfast we are going to put on the Macy's Parade. After we eat and during the Macy's parade we are going to put the bird in the oven. We usually go to my sister in law's in back but things are different this year. Then later on in the day we will have our thanksgiving supper and then the rest of the day and evening we will watch movies and shows with each other. It will be my husband and I this year. My favorite dish is Green Bean casrole and of course the turkey. Also I am making a good pumpkin pie. My favorite time of year is from September 1st -Jan 1 this time frame is anniversarys, Birthdays, apple picking, pumpking patches, apple cider , hot coca, turkey, Shopping for gifts, spending time with the family and making memories.

Me and my mom usually watch the Macy's Day Parade, and then inbetween that we start to get ready and we usually go to my moms mom and visit with them a little and have breakfast and then I go to my dad's moms (Divorced parents) and then we meet with all of my dad's family and eat a late lunch / early dinner then we stay there until about seven or eight and just visit with family and stuff. It's fun. :)

Hopee. (:
