What happened to Thanksgiving decorations?

  • Years ago stores use to sell Thanksgiving decorations. Now its Halloween and straight to Christmas. I like halloween but why isn't Thanksgiving a big deal in decorations too? ...show more

    We threw out our tukey tree a few years ago. Just having to drag out the mash potatoes and dress the tree was SOOO time consuming...plus the mess it made. Now we just stick with lining our roof with pumpkins and acorns...much much easier!

Yeah it is really hard to find Thanksgiving decorations now-a-days. There are a few places that have Thanksgiving decorations now like Party City and Michael's (Arts and Crafts store). If you go to Walmart, Kmart or Target they usually will have a few things like pumpkins and autumn like decorations. Good luck!

Do you have a local AC Moore or Hobby Lobby---they have some and super cute ones! Not bad pricing either. Check online at their websites if you can't get to a store!

Target has cute stuff,and so does Garden Ridge,fall leaves ,warm fall colors for your home,ceramic pumpkins,I just bout a turkey plater with matching punch bowl....I am in Texas so not sure if they have it were ur from...good luck

I have found some cute stuff at WalMart. And you can never go wrong with plain 'ole pumpkins and mums.

Michaels Arts and Crafts has tons of stuff to decorate. A website you might try is MilesKimball .com, they have holiday decorations, mostly Christmas, some fall stuff too.
