Thanksgiving is only in USA.

Well I guess it would be the anniversary of when the Anglo Saxons arrived from Germany but that's been lost through history.

Never - and thus no public holiday like N America gets.

Never. The 5th November is bonfire night

We don't do Thanksgiving. We sent our political and religious zealots to far flung countries of the world. There they were allowed to slowly destroy the indigenous inhabitants and take over the land. We then colonised those countries, until they rebelled against our 'taxation without representation' rules. We exploited the colonies as the colonies exploited the natives. What's to be thankful for? The death of millions of aboriginal people in the land of their fathers all over the globe? Methinks not.
