My family eats holiday dinners at 12noon because that's when they normally eat lunch. I would say the best time is whenever you normally eat either lunch or supper. I've never understood eating at non-meal times, but that;s just me.

in the afternoon, so you can sleep away the rest of the day and maybe have a snack later.

I tell them 2 p.m.--then they show up at 2:30 and we end up eating at 3 p.m. which totally messes up Grampa cause he eats lunch at noon (who eats lunch on Thanksgiving??) and dinner at 5 p.m. Takes the poor man 2 days to get back on schedule!!

anytime is good. we are eating about 2pm. we'll visit and watch football and probably go back for more.
