What time should I show up at Best Buy or Circuit City for the Black Friday sales?

basically it is crazy to bother with BBY black friday deals. the really good deals will be gone by the time you get inside, even if you spend thanksgiving nite in line. they never have enough of the "steals" so you will be wasting your time. i go everywhere else on friday morning, but i skip BBY. the craziness, the aggravation, and multitudes of annoying people are so not worth it. it's crappy stuff anyways, a $200 computer? please.

3 yrs ago I arrived at 3:45, When the store opened at 5, I was pushed to the floor, needless to say no sale is worth that abuse, keep checking the stores websites it's safer

You may have to get there a day early and camp out. Others will already be there, so you have a chance to beat them there.

Do you really have nothing better to do than contribute to consumer stupidity? ...That aside, my mom one time was there at 4 and still couldn't get half the crap she wanted. 3 am, maybe?

Alot of people show up at 5pm on Thanksgiving day. Last year they had bbq's, tents, sleeping bags, etc. Time is money, so is it really worth it in the end? It's a material item, and takes time away from your family. Unless of course you don't like them to begin with.

Any time would be find. The economy is failing and people are not trying to spend. Secondly, if you have children, you might be a bit frightened because of all of the recalls from China.

Most of the stores open around 6 a.m. and that is the craziest shopping day of the year. Things go really quickly, especially when there's a good sale, so the earlier you get there, the better.
