Domain name: 2 to 40 pound (for 1-2 years) depending on what company you buy it from and what type it is (.co.uk, .com, .tv) etc. Web hosting: 20 - 80 pound per year. (again, depending on where its from). Thats a really rough estimate. The web hosting plan would ultimately depend on how many users were visiting your site and listening to your music on offer. Alternatively, you could just do what I do and bother friends that might already have a dedicated server. =)

Have you tried My Space? Don't know the price, but they have over 150 types of music listed. I would think that the profile would be free and then you might have to pay for the listing. They have a musician sign up link
