    the mexicans are generally just pumped out of the factory as quickly as possible; they're usually good, there's a lot of room for error. with the americans, each one is given great care and made sure it's perfect before going out; plus you support your country (provided you're american). at least that's how it seems

the Mexican ones are "good for the money" they are built in Fender's own factory in Mexico, so Fender has control over them the American ones, use better quality wood, better quality necks (They get the "choice cuts", the BEST maple wood) they are "cured" longer which costs more money for the company so they will stay straight longer (on the average) better pickups better electronics buy which ever you want, they are both good "values" for their money

The more expensive, the better. The more expensive it is means your paying for higher quality. So I would go with the american.
