Like to send photos to friends?

Hi,  I have a gallery of photos I want to send to 2 friends. overall size is 276MB.  I used to send such things (as a zip file) with yousendit, however it looks like they are no longer free.  Which alternatives you recommend?  Thanks,  Mark

I used to have similar problems with YouSendit and similar big-file-sending services ; I tried to solve it with DropBox, but my quota filled up pretty fast. Besides, in many cases I just want to send a big file to someone specific on his/her computer, or smartphone, and I don't want this file to sit around on my shared folder (and I don't want that other person to be sharing my dropbox) So recently I started using zeZebra (http://zezebra.com) and it turns out to be perfect just for that. You juts install it once on your PC (or Mac), and then you can send any file to anyone - they can receive it on their PC, MAC and even Android phone or tablet. The trick is that files are sent point-to-point from sender to receiver, and zeZebra automatically follows up on the transfer, and you can see the progress until it is done. And something that was very important to me - no part of the files is ever stored on any server or "cloud" out there. I don't really trust those things... the files goes directly and only to the person I sent it to.

Except for Bluetooth and Wifi, you can try NFC(Near Filed Communication). I use this function in FileExpert, an app for file management on Android devices. You simply tap two NFC-enabled phones together (both running File Expert, naturally) to share files. To use the functionality, tap and hold on any file; once the Operations menu pops up, click "Share" and from the Share to... dialog select "NFC Tapping" to send a file (or even a folder) to the other NFC-enabled Android phone by tapping them together. You can get the app from Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=xcxin.filexpert&hl=en

Hi,You can use https://www.eventshoots.net It's a website and mobile app to share photos  in private with your friends. So you can access to the website or download the app for your mobile, sign in with email and password and create an event. Once you have your event, birthday, wedding or whatever you want, you can invite your friends to that event. Then your friends will be able to see and download your photos or even upload their own photos.Disclaimer: I'm a co-founder of Eventshoots.I hope that this helps!
