What is a good starting place for jazz fusion guitar?
-
I'm fairly new to jazz and really love electric jazz guitar, especially rock/jazz fusion. Would anyone point me to some essential listening?

Answer:
"Loud Jazz" and "Pick Hits Live" by John Scofield. Also check out his other CDs. You can listen to clips on Amazon.com. "Is What It Is" and "Between The Lines" by Mike Stern. (and check out his others, too). "Tricycle" by Larry Coryell. That should keep you busy for awhile.
