How can I play the Alto Saxophone louder with a good sound?

Do you like the sound of a saxophone?

    Overall, I love the sound of a saxophone. I have to be honest and say that I only like the sound of an Alto saxophone. My favorite saxophone is definitely the tenor, then the bari, then alto, then soprano. The saxophone is a great and essential instrument in the band. Saxes also look cool, too! If you want, you should try playing tenor too!

When I started playing alto in the high school band in 1976 I wasn't to happy with my sound because it was pretty raw. As I played for longer my sound got better. I Now have a Selmer MK VII Alto I love the sound of it.

I play both alto and bari, and I love the sound of the alto. It's so expressive and the tone is just exquisite.

I love the sounds of saxophones! Altos are nice, but I personally prefer tenor. I don't play sax, but I like the sound. There's a wide range to, from soprano to bass! Alto's great, though. Check out Maceo Parker, if you want a crazy awesome alto player!

In the band it's sadly blended with everything else, but by itself the saxophone is a sexy and romantic instrument with a slightly mellow and pleasingly sour undertone. It is a unique sound
