What is some good classical music to listen to to start the day off?

    Bach in the morning, I get up before daylight, make two cups of coffee and sit at the piano. I usually play a Bach Prelude and Fugue like WTC Bk 1 no. 2 or the Fantasy in C minor BWV 906? or the 3rd movement of the Italian Concerto (still learning). If I listen to music instead of playing myself, the 3rd Brandenburg Concerto or the Concerto for two violins. Bach is powerful and driving music to get the day started.

For the morning, I would think that "Morning Song (Mood)" from Grieg's Peer Gynt Sweet would be the most appropriate. Nice piece too.

if you arent really into it but want to give it a try look up The Vitamin String Quartet. They are an amazing string band that covers rock songs, everything from panic at the disco to ac/dc. i cant stand classical music but i love them! go to google videos and seach them
