How to keep my piano clean?

    My advice is start scales if u haven't already. They will build your technique and your finger speed. They also can build stamina and help you understand each key signiture better. It will take awhile but in the end you will be a better pianist. But you have to remember. Being a concert musician, let alone a pianist, is one of the most difficult jobs to be successful in. There will be so may people who will be better than you and still they can barely afford to live. My suggestion would be a double major. One of them being piano. the other something else.

Don't give up...If I could tell you of the huge number of people who come to me telling they are sorry for having given up the piano or other instruments! Later in life, we all feel sorry...So, the best thing is for you to think it over, think of the opportunities you have which others will never have..Take it easy, talk with your teacher, etc. I wish you very good luck!

Noooooooooooo don't quit! If you have a talent use it, don't give up if you are experiencing some difficulties, that's life. Push yourself, don't kill yourself in your ambitions. Go gently one step at a time. Be patient with yourself, as well as with others. Your physical discomforts could be rectified by a physio, who will advise on posture and exercise. Giving up the piano, trying a different instrument, will result in the same experiences of coming up against hurdles you must overcome. Don't stop. Wanting to become a concert pianist may be pretty difficult. It will take more than 2 years to even come close to that status. I'm surprised that you are already playing Brahms and Chopin after 2 years. When you say that you're worried that you won't make it, you mean that you won't end up being a pianist? You should quickly solve your posture. All you have to do is sit up straight. I'm not sure if you mean technique as in scales and things like that or your playing style? You shouldn't learn those pieces and playing them without your teacher knowing. Learning the technique in playing Chopin and Brahms takes a lot of experience. Just learning how to just play the notes is only a small fraction of actually "learning" the piece. You should be honored that you have the opportunity of playing on a piano like that. Just follow your teacher's ways. It will come soon enough
