Anyone KNow a good place to get free piano sheet music?

This place I go to get a lot of my music is really good (IMHO) http://www.8notes.com/piano_sheet_music.asp It's really good, it has lots of different levels (as in, it warns you of the hard ones, easy ones, etc), and has classical, jazz, even ONE WHOLE pop song (not very good, but still). your mother is encouraging you to STEAL music? wow what a mentor? there are no LEGAL sites that post copyright music without paying the copyright owner unless it is 100 year public domain (if you are asking for that, you didn't say so) If the copyright owner wants to post it, they do it on their OWN website and it does NOT matter who transcribed it only the copyright owner can post it for free if someone else transcribes it for themself, they can NOT legally post it and you cannot legally download, copy, or share it

WORD OF CAUTION - please, as byrde said, respect the copyright laws and procure things legally when possible. Modern music should all be copyrighted, and you can find them easily - and cheaply! - on eBay and more (for example, Classicalarchives.net) That being said, I don't believe - and I could be very mistaken on this - that copyrights exist for much classical music composed in earlier centuries, as the concept of intellectual property rights was quite different then. The site below allows some free downloads I believe, but otherwise has a very nominal download fee. I don't know what type of music you are looking for, but that site is a fairly good starting point for looking for some classical and folk sheet music, that in theory should not be copyrighted.
