  • Answer:

Place the contact lens on the tip of your index or middle finger. With the fingers and thumb of your other hand, simultaneously pull up on your upper eyelid and down on your lower eyelid.Position the lens on your eye while looking upward or forward. Roll your eyes in a complete circle to help the lens settle, then blink. For all details, information and remedies about contacts check out http://use-contactlens.blogspot.com/

Pull down your lower lid - looking straight into the mirror - place the contact on the tip of your finger (edges facing up of course like a dome) I tend to put 1-2 drops of solution in the dome to help with placing the contact in my eye ... put the contact onto the lower of the eyeball and slowly slide up so the contact grabs, the solution will run down your face but I find it cleans the contact and my eye from any grit/dust I didn't know was in there which can affect the comfort when wearing contacts. After its in I move the contact from side to side to adjust it a little, if there is a sort of burning/cutting feeling you have something under your contact, if this happens either take out the contact and wash with solution or try to move the contact from left to right to see if you can get rid of whatever it is. With some practise you'll be a whizz, good luck!

See your optometrist about changing your solution for your contacts, that's what I had to do.

Make sure they are the right way and not inside out. Hold your eyes open as wide as you can get them. If you are right handed use your right hand to put them in. Try to be relaxed and put it directly in the middle of your eye quickly. Blink a few times and if your eye is irritated use your finger and move the lense around in a clockwise motion for 20 seconds. Keep doing it until the irritation goes away. If it doesn't go away, take out the lense, clean it and put some visine in your eyes and try again. (:

If you are putting the contact lense in your left eye then put it on the middle finger of your right hand. Use your left hand to hold up the top eyelid. Use the index finger of your left hand to roll down the bottom eyelid. Now gently move the middle finger with the lense on it onto your eye. Keep your eye held open and look around for a second to make sure the contact stays on, then blink a few times. Done.

you have to get your eyes sort of wet [ not reg water, you can buy some that will work for you] and look away from it when you put it in.
