How does super glue work?

Ok super glue did not work, what else should i try?

    Never use glue. If even a single drop falls on the lends, it's done, no coming back. I recommend a new frame, the lends can still be used if they're not broken, you just have to find a store that make frames that fit the lends. (the Lends is the most part of the glasses) Good luck.

If you can get it, prattleys is a very good glue. You get two tubes and you have to use equal amounts of each and mix it vey well before applying, but it drys hard and strong. Just don't get it on your fingers, whatever you do! Maybe you could use both glue and tape, just for double strength.

OK, this is a bit more dangerous and will mess them up even more if you do it wrong. BE WARNED! If they are plastic frames, it MIGHT work to try to melt them back together. Needed: candle, long nail, broken plastic. Hold the broken pieces of plastic together as if they were not broke. Heat the nail over the candle until red hot if possible. Quickly (for a very short time) roll the heated nail over the seem of where the plastic frame broke while holding them together. THIS IS A LAST DITCH ATTEMPT! IF DONE WRONG THE PLASTIC WILL JUST MELT AWAY AND ANY OTHER CHANCE TO FIX THE FRAMES IS GONE! Good luck, be sure to try everything else first and don't burn yourself or bring the heated nail in contact with the lens.

Try a nice elastic band, it will look cool while you get money to buy new glasses.

I've tried hot glue also and it doesn't work. At all. It's triple digits here also, I've been using tape from the post office. So far it's working.
