My eyes turn red after wearing contact lens for a whole day. What should i do?

I started wearing contacts 2 months ago.i don't wear it everyday because of the redness it gave to my eyes. I think my eyes are dry and lubricants don't help a lot.

Answer:
there are only two possible solutions. The first one is to buy a special lens which contains a 95 % of water solution, so your eyes trouble may desappear in 2 or 3 days. The second one is use a diferent lent every day ( my aunt di this and her eyes have improved a lot) this is all. ===(I'm so sorry about your problem)===

You may have a dry eye problem, and the eye doctor can help you with that. Some people have to wear their glasses every other day. Try a different contact, I wear Acuvue Oasys, and they are GREAT. It could be the solution you are using. Try a different solution, I have found that Opti Free is the best, but if you are using that it wouldn't hurt to try another.

for red eyes... try clear eyes.. they have the ingredients to moisturize! lol but really tho. they just might be very dry.. CLEAR EYES! bet.

Hi, i think you have to combine the use of contacts with glasses, for example you can put your glasses at home. And you have to use tears with your contacts frecuently and when you are not using the contacts you can use a lubricant gel for your eyes, (for example Celluvisc). Good luck!!

I suggest going back to the eye doctor. There are so many brands of contacts out that its like shopping for clothes. Sometimes you have to play around with different brands to see which ones work best for your eyes. Try asking for acuvue advance with hydra-clear it worked wonders for my eyes.

I would go back to the eye doctor and tell them what is happening, maybe you need to switch the type of contacts or something like that. Sounds to me like your eyes are dry. By lubricants I'm assuming you mean eye drops, don't help. Either go to the doctor or the local pharmacy and talk to the pharmacist, sometimes they can be of help.
