MY CONTACT LENSES MAKE MY EYES RED AND IRRITATED. WHAT SHOULD I DO IN THIS SITUATION

As suggested, it could be the brand of contacts. It could also be the fit. If they aren't fitted correctly, the same can happen. You need to get them out of your eyes when this happens. If not, it can cause many eye injuries or diseases. Go back to the doctor. Never, ever use medicated drops of any kind unless they are formulated of contacts. The contacts absorb the medicine and can damage your eyes and contacts.

I just wear glasses. Sure, I look like a nerd, but they are more convenient for me. But, when playing rugby, I use sports contacts. But that's the only time.

i would just stop wearing contact period if its doing that to your eyes. thats prolly damaging your eyes thats why its turning red. it might or might not but u need to consult your doctor about that instead of waitin around. you never know what it could be doing to your health

It seems that your eyes doesn't like the solution you're using. You may have to change the brand of contact lens. Also, give you eye doctor a call.

how long have you been using them? if for a short period of time, give them time. if for too long, then maybe you should switch contact brand. are you sure you haven't worn them too many days? ask the person who sells you the contacts and tell him/her. best solution. some eyes don't like contacts and they refuse them. mine don't but my moms did. her eyes would go like yours and they'd just pop out of her eyes.

Well, what kind of lenses do you use? I had the same problem when I wore the type of lenses that I wore for two weeks, so my optometrist gave me these one-day-only contacts, and my eyes don't get red when I wear them. They're more expensive, but my eyes don't hurt anymore :]

try using eyedrops. it helps sometimes for irritation.

My mom always needed to wear contacs. But now she does'nt because she got that eye surgery thing... Ask your Doctor..
