What is wrong with my eye it hurts and keeps going all gunky like when you wake up with "sleep" in your eye?

more than likely conjunctivitis, bath your eye in a warm salt bath this should help clear it up or alternatively go to the chemist and get some Optrex for infected eyes or see the doctor

I agree with the conjunctivitis

maby you just had something in it but when i had pink eye my eyes were stuck shut with gunk when i woke up and i just use a warm wash cloth and rubbed it off but dont let anybody use the cloth you used and you should go to the doctor and have him check it out

be careful not to touch the other eye until you wash your hands it sounds like you have the beggining stage of Conjunctivitis ,it needs treatment both on the eye and pill form penicillin and it is highly contagious by cross contamination see your doc as soon as possible! and in the meantime be extra careful when touching the eye and touching things around the home that are used by others especially face towels or makeup

It could be conjunctivitis. This can easily be treated with Chloramphenicol eye drops, but you do need to see your doctor.

You might have pink eye which is contagious! You need to go to the doctor to have it checked! You can't leave something to do with your eyes unchecked. It is painful and can be scary when you wake up and can't open your eyes, because they are stuck together with "sleep". Go to the emergency room if you have too!
