Is Cambridge a cheap city to live?

Is cambridge a nice city to live in?

  • Where is nice nearby as the properties there seem so expensive! I have a max of 165k to spend on buying a small house. I have not lived in cambridge before

  • Answer:

Well it depends where you live and who you know. Living in the town centre would be ideal because you have close connections to the shops, good transport links, and you have a good catchment area. Also the architecture is nicer in the town centre than on the outskirts. Like any city there are nice places and not so nice places, so I would suggest the centre or a village outside. I live near the centre and I like it. I live near my school, near the cinema, near the parks. Cambridge has nice parks and nice surrounding nature places that you can visit. In the centre you can basically find everything, nice restaurants, shops, cinemas, pubs, etc. I'm 14 and I think it's a great city for someone my age. Though in July we get crowded by students and it becomes very busy, but they go away soon enough.
