It doesn't need to be "OUTRAGEOUS". It should be MEANINGFUL. She should wear a dress that is appropriate. The cake should not be that ostentatious. In fact, nothing should be that ostentatious. It is a RELIGIOUS event. Modesty is much more befitting the situation.

i think ur friend's bat mitzvah should be one that she'll remember forever!!! dress: jessica mcclintock has the most amazing dresses :) that's where i got mine. what i did was i wore one dress that was more modest for the service and another dress for the party. ur friend could do that. cake: should go with the theme. theme: new york fashion runway? u could get those custom m&ms that u can like write whatever u want on them. one of my friends gave out pajama pants. another gave out little drawstring backpacks. or u could give out t-shirts. HOPE ITS AMAZING :)
