we always dress up with our kids, and have a "theme", when my daughter was little we were all bumble bees, and one year she and I were butterflies and my husband was a 'bug catcher' with a lab coat and nerd glasses and rubber boots, lol This year we have a "loose" Japanese theme, my daughter and I are going to be geisha girls w/ kimonos, my husband has a traditional karate uniform, and my son, lol, is going to be a ninja turtle!! (what could I say? He's 4!)

"hairspray" inspired my buffed uncle is gonna be a 300 spartan. he made his helmet,shield out of paper and glue and bronze spraypaint. ITS REALLY GOOD. he made a warrior skirt and bought a really thick red cape :)
