What are other things to say rather then the usual "trick or treat?

What should i reply to the little kids when they say 'trick or treat'?

just say happy halloween after u give them the candy, thats what I do.

Usually kids don't understand TRICK OR TREAT.. They probably think of "tricker treat." Usually when they say that I say "trick" and they get extremely confused :P

give them a egg and tell them to egg the house that doesn't give out candy. Tell them Merry Christmas and Happy Easter.
