Does anyone know of a data entry job?

Does anyone know of a work at home(i.e. data entry) job that a mom could do that is NOT a scam?

    Medical transcription is very popular and pays extremely well. It is hard work though and you don't get just a couple hours a day. You have to get the assigned work done. Ask at a major medical office or a hospital.

They have lots of sites out there for Stay at home moms that want to work from home and who want to talk with other stay at home moms. I would look at some of them. That is where I found my job. Here are a few.

I really enjoy my career and though it is not data entry, it is a great company. I work from home in the medical field. Since the company has full and ongoing training and support, prior experience in the field is not an issue. It is mostly computer work with some customer service follow up. I set my own hours and I get to help people while earning a great living. I would be happy to share details if you are interested. Incidentally, we also get benefits for our household.

I dont know where to find these jobs but my mom used to work from home as a data transcriber. where u listen to people speaking into those lil tape recorders and type what you you hear into report format. Decent money also. She did it for a workers comp investigator. Like I said dont know how she found that job but they are out there.

Yes I have not found a legit data entry job, but you may wish to set yourself up as a freelance independent contractor and become a virtual assistant. Click on my avatar, I'm a VA working from home doing transcription and secretarial work, but other VAs do bookkeeping, resume writing services, real estate assistance, you name it, the list is endless. You may have particular skills and you can hone in on a niche service.
