Why is it so hard for me to find a job?

Why is it so hard to find a descent job?

  • why is it so hard to find a job out there, even dead end jobs are sometimes hard to get. Employers always want to hire people with good job stability and work experince but how can ...show more

  • Answer:

Sorry to sound patronising but your question is riddled with bad grammar and spelling mistakes. If I were reading a job application that had those errors you wouldn't even get an interview. Every application has a spell checker these days. If you don't even make that effort the potential employer is not going to be impressed.

It is indeed difficult for young people to get a decent job early in their career unless they graduate from a popular school or get referred by an "insider" in the company. Many times, landing a decent job is a matter of luck when you don't have working experience. This is sort of a "chicken-and-egg" problem. To break the "chicken-and-egg" circle, self employment could be the solution. There are some self employment business opportunities that don't require initial capital investment(you invest only your time). For example, you can start this internet based travel agent business as a marketing representative(there is no charge for being a Rep) selling their travel agency - http://video.ptovacation.com. They actually provide free training to you to teach you how to do the job. You can gain working experience from this self employed work and leverage those working experience to land a decent job later if you want.

i know the feeling, at 21 ure just opening your world.... decent job and job stability is one thing but.......... have u asked urself what is it that u really want to do in life? at ur age i criss crossed europe on backpack and at my age now (sshhhh secret) have never regretted it one bit. On my travels across asia i have met plenty of backpackers young and old, on bicycles, bikes, on foot and shared plenty of stories. it really is a beautiful world out there.... it doesnt have to cost plenty... but the experience is worthless.... few years down the road n ull be ready to get married and lo and behold u r stuck with an unfinished dream.... so dream on and catch the waves ...........job can wait....

You might want to start by learning the difference between "descent" and "decent"... That said, it is always a good idea to get a higher degree. You can always intern while you're in school to get work experience. In the mean time, you can make some extra money waiting tables.
