the best site is the place where they are actually offering the job - go there and submit an application - 100% more likely to actually get the job if you go in person - ask around and search on the internet if you want

Go directly to the company websites. They are the actual and the freshest jobs: walmart.com, target.com, etc. Depends on what is in your area and considering where you are, you have a multitude of choices. Jobs on the job lists and in the paper are old and often filled. The company websites are more accurate.

Try monster.com but get ready to get telemarketed to death if you enter your contact information. Alternatively, people post a lot of jobs on Craigslist.org. Just select your city and search for jobs by category. It's free and probably the best because you don't have to register or anything.
