Answer:
Try getting a job in a bar or club instead. You get to go out...not spend money (and probably see some of your mates out) ..and get paid too! However ...if you really want standard retail..... Remember you are studying for a very different type of retail job than the type you are going for now. No retail employer wants a know-it-all student for a part time sales job. Don't over play your CV...tailor it for the type of job you're after here...only put "8 GCSEs...including maths and english" for example. Make reference to 'eager to learn', and 'keen to work hard' in your covering letter...and keep trying. Good luck.

i think you have answered your own question, they see you as someone who will move on quickly and don't want to train you up. as aj says go for a bar job or a seasonal job and there is no need to cram all your qualifications onto your cv and don't come over as a smart ****.

Think of skills that you have that are transferable and you maybe able to use in retail. For example in your studies and real life you may be methodical and organised (give example of where and when), and demonstrate that this skill could apply to say Stock Taking. Transferable Skills is the key.

I agree with *Kirsty* on what she said. Play it smart ! Work your way up the organization and then demand to change your position cause you need more multitasking, experience and you're not quite getting it from your current postion. You need something more challenging.
