Can a 14 year old get a job?

I take it you live in the UK (purely for the way you spell 'mum'!) and I live in the UK too, and I go around hairdressers asking for a job as a Saturday Gril - it basically involves cleaning up, sweeping up hair, making drinks etc (I know this because my sister worked as a Saturday Girl for about 2-3 years). So far I have had an interview, but didn't get the job unfortunately :( but there are plenty of hairdressers near me which I haven't asked in yet! Just ask in all of the hairdressers near you! yes you can but... it depends on the job :) maybe somewhere like a library.. you can read to little kids but i think that's voluntary or a dog walker :) hope i helped!!

You could try something in computers nobody cares how old you are as long as your work is high quality

You can, but you will need a work permit because of your age. Like above poaters say, most places will be looking for 16+ and even 18+. If you have any connections now would be the time to use them. If you can get your foot in the door and work hard/do well, you should be home free. Good Luck!

one of my younger friends (13 years old) Took an internship at an ice cream shop in town. At the end of her internship, the manager told her that she could have a summer job there because she showed great work ethic. You could try and do something like that, or babysitting also works. (try a local library too!)
