Finding a lawyer to answer my questions?

Basically I have a ton of questions to ask a lawyer because I'm starting a business. I have lots of questions concerning fraud too. Does anyone know how I would find a lawyer ...show more

If you want to ask an attorney these questions, it may cost you quite a bit. Some attorneys have free consultation, however. You can make use of this by going through the yellow pages and find the ones that do, then give them a call. Explain what you want to do and ask if and how they can help you. If done correctly, You can get at least 1 or 2 questions answered by each attorney for free. The problem is that though you received an answer, all it is is guidance -- there are no promises to represent you. Depending on your type of business, you may want to have a full time attorney. There are alternatives to getting your answers: contact the small business administration (SBA), go by one of those document preparation services (We the People) and tell them what you want to do. Ask how they can help. Do not make any commitment until you have had time to think things over.

find your local bar referral service through the ABA. as to cost any answer you receive is baseless. it depends where you live type of law, amount of time, experience of the lawyer and other factors. There is no such thing as 20 questions!
