Employee Parking Ticket In Employer Car?

  • Answer:

Forget about the doctor's note, that's just a stupid thing for that person to ask for. But, being a delivery driver you do need a car that is reliable. I have to say that the battery on your car would have run down after all those attempts at starting the car. Just get the car fixed, go into work and see what happens. Whoever is covering for your boss is the person you want to talk to.

Order a texi or catch a bus if there is one near. Or see if any of your co workers go the same way as you to work and catch a lift with them. Do not get a doctors note as you are not ill and that is not the reason you arnt at work. If you have no way to get to work at all, write an apologetic letter to smooth the ice. Explaining that you cannot get to work and your resons so. Hopefully that could make your boss look at you and see you as polite and whatever (sorry I can't think of the word :P) Hope I helped you in some sort of way:)

the 'doctors note' is just standard when someone calls in , the person you talked might just be use to saying that.. if you are not sick, I do not think a doctor will give you a 'note'. that would be unethical. as for your car not working, as a manager.. I don't care.. I need you here to work and I can't afford to have you call in for what ever reason. but as a co worker I can understand that cars break down and things happen, I would just call back and find your manager and talk to them.

Even through I don't know what company that you work for, but I do have to assume that they want you to get a doctor's note because you got a blister in your finger. Otherwise I would have to and even reading your question, I would have to wonder why you would even need a doctor's note. Take my advice is it worth getting fired for, just get the doctor's note even through you are not sick. They should know that you are not sick. If you have a doctor make an appointment, or a doctor if you don't have a doctor make an appointment to see one, show him or her your finger, and ask for a doctor's note and explain why you need one. I would think that they should understand, but don't lie to the doctor and say your sick, you think that they would catch you. Your assistant manager and another employee were there should they should be able to back you up. I would hardly think it is lying they know that your car is the only way into work in less do you know somebody that can be able to drive you into work, but I would still think that they will want to see your doctor's note. So don't write the doctor's note yourself, your company may know what your handwriting looks like. On a job you are going to end up having to do things that you don't like to have to do. So if you want to work the rest of the week get that doctor's note.

Just tell them you were not I'll and do not have a DOCTOR'S note. If they insist on firing you, then there is not much you can do.
