    The reason we have Easter is to celebrate Jesus Christ "building the temple in 3 days" (himself).He died for our sins.This is a holiday for Catholics,Christians and all the religions that believe in him! The Easter Bunny is so kids have fun with Easter. Atheist'dintn't believe in anything,they can celebrate if they want to. I don't know why it is called "Easter".

Easter has been celebrated much longer than the Christian fable about Jesus resurrection (coming back from the dead?!?!) It is a pagan holiday celebrating the return of spring. It is based on the phase of the moon (that is why it is always on a different calendar day) it is on the first Sunday after the full moon. Yes! Celebrate it the way it was meant to be celebrated... enjoy family and friends.. bunny rabbits and colored eggs... or if you wish go to church and get brainwashed that a man returned from the dead on this day (and crazy people believe in the easter bunny?!?!) Dinners are just a special way to come together as a family or community to celebrate our Lord. -Easter bunny is just a commercial ploy. -Not really, since atheists don't believe in the divinity of Jesus and Easter is about His resurrection. -I have know idea why it's called Easter.
