How to make a giant egg for this Easter?

What can i use as a make-shift chocolate easter egg mould?

  • I want to make my own easter egg, but i cant be bothered to go out to the shops and buy a mould, is there anything i can use instead? Thank you:)

    Maybe the plastic hollow eggs, but I don't know if they can handle the heat of the chocolate.

If you have access to the plastic egg shaped women's stockings, they can be used. Trim the chocolate carefully after is hardens and use a small amount of coco butter on the shape to allow for release. The easiest thing though is to buy the mold because they are more pliable and release easier.
