What can I do over easter holidays?

Can anyone suggest some good places to take kids in the UK during the Easter holidays (preferably cheap/free)?

    Look in your area for some forest walks! Some do charge about £2 for the car park for the day but this is quite rare. 9 times out of 10 there are things to find in the woods (look for a information board in the car park) Like some statues or other fun related things. But just have a look! Some even have tree top walks/parks/train rides(Additional charge) and picnics! things to do and nearly always free! That or look in your local paper for any village fates/events.

take the hard boiled eggs to the hills and roll them down winner gets a Prize paint the eggs before you roll them do a picnic on the Monday and go to the beach or a park make up your own games and have fun nature collecting shells and making something or washing them and put them in your garden? music games I spy lots of things you can do if you put your mind to it ask the kids what they want to play they will tell you ?hope this has been helpful?

Have you been to St. Fagans in south wales? Only have to pay for the car park. Or just take them swimming or the a park or beach. Kids today are spoilt lol
