I have one speech -- The Resurrection! My sister found at the library for me when I was 8 years old. She also learned it. I still remember it -- it came in right on time when I forgot to prepare a speech from memory many years ago in college, so I recited my trusty Easter speech. I got a chance to recite it when that same sister was passing and I recited it in her ear -- she passed shortly thereafter. Not as popular in my home church today. Programs are more like musicals or one act plays.

Yes I do remember Easter Speeches. My mom would make me recite one every year until I was about 10 years of age. Then I hated them but now looking back I have nothing but fond memories of them.
