What else can you do on the easter egg hunt?

My daughter's teacher won't do an Easter egg hunt...what can we do?

    That teacher is in charge of her classroom. She says what goes there. Being respectful would be honoring that, not sending something after she already told you no. Why don't you have an egg hunt when the kids get home from school?

you could talk to the teacher and ask her to reconsider by offering yourself to be a volunteer if you could get in touch with other parent and get them to volunteer as well it would make the hunt more fun and safe and the teacher will be able to go home with a rested mind for not worrying about all the kids running loose . You could send little "party bags" with the little cheap toys commonly distributed at birthday parties. Then there are no "snacks" but everyone still gets a surprise. I don't know how you would express your disapproval "nicely".

I can understand why the daycare may not want preschoolers running around. Yes, it's your little baby, but they may have had an issue in the past. They have been around tons of preschoolers. You have been around 2. Best to follow their wishes. I still think a small bag of candy for each child (including your own, of course), would be nice. Something they could take home after school.
