What are your easter traditions?

  • i am going to be on vacation in florida for easter. and we need ideas since we cant have an easter egg hunt on the beach. what could we do in our condo or on the beach? any ideas?

    We hunt for the hidden Easter treats, which are all made from chocolate, then at approximately 11:00 am, we have an Easter Brunch, which consists of a large baked ham with a special sauce basted over it, Hot cross buns, some toasted some plain, Toasted rye bread, and then a variety of eggs, hard boiled, poached, devilled eggs and belgium waffles sometimes with whipped cream and strawberries. Lots of juice and coffee . Later when that has been digested we serve homemade pineapple upside down cake and beverages.

My kids are too little to be trusted with splitting things up evenly... so I just give them filled baskets outright and then we have a nice brunch. The baskets include blowing bubbles so they like to run outside in their pajamas and blow.

Can't you still have a easter egg hunt in the condo? We always had our easter baskets hidden around the house, and we had to go find them. Other than that, it's just a good ham dinner and lots of chocolate!!!
