What do you need to be a hotel receptionist?

What qualifications do you need to work as a receptionist/front desk job at a hotel?

• How much do they generally make? Could I do it part time while going to school?

  depends on the hotel and how bad they might need someone. where I work my boss likes someone that has worked in a hotel before, so they know the ins and outs. having computer skills are nice but if you have worked on a hotel computer before is the best, because no home computer is going to be the same things.. this also goes with pay.. hotels do not pay the same all over the place.. depends on where you are going to work..
