What does it mean when you GET a written VERBAL warning from the company that you work for?

If you didn't think it was part of your responsibility, you should have an open conversation with your manager outlining your specific job description and responsibilities. Depending on what you find, you could use the documentation as an argument in your favor. Also, how are you certain your ops manager didn't get diciplined as well? Does your company discuss those matters openly with all the employees? A company with good discretion will keep all disciplinary actions between the individual employee and the manager(s) to which they report and no one else.
