Why do people have easter eggs at easter?

cos jesus is for christians easter isnt easter is for pagans, its about fertility thats what eggs and rabitts symbplise life, birth, new life, spring and procreation

Actually it has to do with the end of lent. In biblical times people would not eat eggs during lent and so as not to wasted them they would hard cook them and then at the end of lent there would be lots of hard boiled eggs, . Easter usually coincides with the end of lent so the tradition got intermixed

It is the influence of the pagans and the catholic church, that Easter is celebrated by coloring eggs. The catholic church adopted many pagan customs and observances, to be more pagan friendly in hopes of converting more people to Catholicism.

Yes. There are certainly a lot of people who don't know the true meaning of Easter. Chocolate eggs etc. what a lot of rubbish Commercialism, I suppose. Easter is all about our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ,full stop.
