What traditions do you or your family have surrounding the Easter period?

After going to church on Good Friday, my extended family gathers to share hot cross buns. Sometimes we catch up with friends on the Saturday, but we always go to church on Easter Sunday. My brother and I are still have an egg hunt, but they've gotten a lot harder since we were kids. Now the eggs are hidden so well, my mum forgets where she's hidden some so the dog finds it later in the week!

Make the best easter foods around. Big cookies..Rainbow colors everywhere. And you cant have easter without candy and small eggs hand-painted by loving children:] -victoria

I don't celebrate Easter, I'm an atheist.

Easter egg hunts. The best hiding place ever for an egg was in place of a light bulb in an unused bedside lamp.

We don't really celebrate it any more and whilst I will reflect on the Christian side of it, I will make a special meal, though nothing elaborate. I find it sad that few reflect the Christian message which it is all about. Most seem to concentrate on the Chocolate and Buns. Happy Easter.

Well Easter is about when God sent his son Jesus Christ to die for our sins, so we just reflect and thank God for the sacrifice he gave for human kind. :)

I will be or was working over Easter and it goes by as if it was nothing at all which is bit sad really.
