At 16 can i get a job at a restaurant and can i turn it into a career?

i always wanted to work at a restaurant and im not sure if at 16 i can get a job there. also wondering if i can work my way up plus a degree later and turn owning one into a career.

You may be able to bus tables or wash dishes. You won't be able to wait tables yet because you have to be of age. But as you get experience you can start doing small tasks, maybe chopping veggies or getting into the food part of it. Call up a restaurant you'd like to work at and ask the manager if they're hiring those positions and what the age limit is. You never know until you try. Good luck
