  • Answer:

I am sorry to say this but suck it up and be happy you get to have it! Especially with all of the adults on unemployment right now. Keep it any money is better than no money and money borrowed especially from your parents...

2-3 days a week isn't so bad. I'd stick it out. Think of it this way - you're earning money to take someone special out on a date. When you have a goal, who cares how hard the work is? It will also be good to prove to yourself that you can stick with something, even if you don't like it. This could make a good anecdote on your SAT essay, someday, or a story for your grandkids.

I would just manage the job until you start school because it would good on your resume and you would making money in the process and since it is 2 to 3 days a week I would just stay with it if I was in your shoe.

i would definitely try to suck it up. If there are issues at work that are hard for you, talk to the manager and see if there is some other task that wont be as hectic

Considering the fact that you are only talking about 2 or 3 more weeks, I say suck it up and finish out the summer. You are not getting to work many days per week anyway so you still have plenty of free time and you are being paid for the days and hours you do work. You many need a reference from this boss one day and if you hang in there until time for school to start, you will get a much better reference. This will be a very good life experience for you to prove that you can "stick with" something even when you do not want to. You will find out later in life there are things you will not want to do, but you cannot just quit every time you want to. If you only work 3 more weeks and for 3 days each week - you are only talking about 9 days out of 21 - sounds like a pretty good schedule that gives you plenty of free time and still allows you to make money.
