to be in good standing and possibly be rehirable you should give a two week notice that you are quiting your job. dont just leave em hanging by just going in to work just to say ur quiting. put ur two week notice in work your last two weeks and get on with it.

Usually you should write them a letter 2 weeks beforehand but since you've only worked there for 4 shifts just speak to the manager maybe a week before. I'm sure they'll understand :) But don't put it on your resume or reference...
