Why don't you call gain and ask them if the job is still open and if it is ask about your application. They might have someone else and do not bother to inform the rest.

Keep looking. If you throw enough mud against the wall, sooner or later some of it is gonna stick. Only fools fill out an application and then go home and wait for a month . Smart people keep looking. Who knows? If you apply at enough places, you might even get several job offers. Then you get to choose!

When you submit an application, wait a week and if you do not hear from them, call them and ask if they had a chance to look over your application yet. Many times, an employer doesn't really bother looking at an application unless the applicant calls to check the status of the application. It shows that they are serious about the job and thus are most likely the people you'd want to hire.
