$30 an hour is $62,400 per year. I live in the DC Metro area so that would be average income for a single person with no kids. However, it would be tough to make it here if you had to support a family on that income.

Yeah if you make $30 an hour in Wisconsin, some of the benefits are probably a limo ride to work every day, a private bathroom with shower, use of the company jet and a body guard.

I had a manufacturing job for $20 an hour + good benefits at Maytag but they started to outsource jobs to other countries and then were bought out recently by Whirlpool, which outsources alot to foreign markets. So yea those jobs are becoming scarce so if you find a job in any area or field take it.
