  • Answer:

It is an excellent career that pays well. Nurses are in high demand and are making more and more all the time. One reason they are in demand is because there is a shortage of nursing schools. It is hard to get into a nursing school, so if you do, appreciate the opportunity and take full advantage! Good Luck.

It's hard to get into nursing programs - the two main reasons are a shortage of instructors and limited clinical spaces for the required clinical training. But if you're inclined in that direction, it's worth pursuing.

Woof

In addition to the above... Nursing programs have scaled grades. So, most college classes consider a C as 70-79, a B as 80-89, and an A as 90-100. In nursing school, a C is 75-84. A B is 85-92, and an A is 93-100. If you get a 74 you fail (this is the case at MOST nursing schools). So in addition to being harder to get into, it is harder to get good grades.
