to me it depends where you live.I live in a small town who pays $9 an hour.So thats why i work in the bay where they pay $12 starting. So you have to look around and also check for benefits.some give and some dont.

There is no such thing as a registered medical assistant. This is not a legal profession that is recognized in ANY state. No state requires licensure as a medical assistant. It is ONLY a job title, same as a waitress or a bartender. It's the biggest scam going in education right now.
