What career in the medical field best fits my criteria (or limitations)?

I know that in my old office, there was a medical assistant whos job was to schedule organize and approve surguries through insurance companies. Its very important and time consuming but well worth it . You fight with insurance companies when they tell the patient no ( trust me its alot more fun that it sounds! ) , the patients are so greatfull. You read pre-operative instuructions , schedule pre-surgical testing, then give post op instructions. Its a very rewarding job, patients are generally scared when they hear the "S" word. You calm them down and make them feel at ease with the situation. When I did it for a short while, I really liked it. This way your hands on without being around anything gross. Good luck, I love the medical field. Atfirst I thought I would be squeamish too, but you quickly get over it,when you know that you are helping people it is the most rewarding thing! Also, Front dest,or reception is a good option also. But youll have to love to talk on the phone, because those girls do it alot. Best of luck sweetheart!
