How hard is it to be a ultrasound tech?

How do i do this career?! Ultrasound Tech/X-ray Tech. WISCONSIN HELP!?

    What's the issue with a technical college? If it's because you think it's a "lesser" education, you are mistaken. I did 2 years at a university before transferring to a technical college for Sonography and the Sono. program was 10 times harder and more challenging than any class I had at the 4 year school. The schools you mentioned don't seem to have the kind of program you want. You could consider Clarion University of Pennsylvania and Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.

Wheaton Franciscan Health Care has programs for x-ray tech and sonography (see link below). I know they do not have a wait list there---you have to apply, be interviewed, etc. You definitely need to ask any schools you are interested if there is a wait list for the program. I recently looked into this field and, after talking to some people who had graduated from different programs, learned that the job outlook isn't as rosy as it has been made out to be. I went back to websites listing it as a top job and scrolled through the posts and it definitely changed my mind about the field. If this is your passion, good luck and I wish you well! But I would ask that if you're looking for a solid career in healthcare overall, to go deeper than the article and see what the grads are saying.
