Where should I take my Nursing Degree?

How long does it take to get a nursing degree?

  • i was thinking about going to get a nursing degree but was wondering how long the avergage degree takes to get....anybody know

  • Answer:

If you go to community college full time and take a couple of classes in the summer, you could get your Associates in Nursing (ASN) in 3 years. You could go to a regular college/university and it'll take4 years (all of this as long as you go full time) for your bachelors in nursing (BSN). Whether you go for your ASN or BSN, they ALL take the same liscensing exam in the end and no one makes a better nurse over the other.

My friend did one in 4 years (BA/BS); she's an RNA. That is the type of nurse you want to be. Good knowledge, skills, and salary. You have long term future and won't dread doing the grunt work.
