Are there careers in nursing that don't involve wiping butts?

I wouldn't go into nursing or any other field that requires caring for others because it is obvious you don't. I hope you are never in the uncomfortable position of asking someone to take care of your personal needs in the event you can't. I would tell anyone the same thing if they made the statements you made.

You know if you can just get through the program to become a nurse you may never have to see the gross stuff again. You can always do other thing with a nursing degree-- you could teach, work in a call center-- some RN's in hospitals even do the paperwork, schedualing and discharging patients(that how it works in the maternity section where I'm at anywyas). Or you could get a degree and go into a health management position. :) Good Luck, hope that gave you an idea!
